+ at 11AM today … the Calgary 2026 Bid Corporation will hold a media briefing for its DRAFT HOSTING PLAN CONCEPT for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

+ housing for athletes part of the plan – strategy to meet long term ‘affordable housing’ inventory after the games; overall cost estimates are being reviewed by the Notley government (they’ve engaged MNP and Canada West Foundation to analyze the hosting plan) and Ottawa …

+ Notley government announced it will provide full details of its funding support for the Olympic bid BEFORE the Nov. 13 plebiscite

+ provincial and federal government support details will be left out of Sept. 10th ‘hosting plan’ decision by City Council
