+ Canadian Utilities Limited agreed to acquire from Suncor Energy Inc. a portfolio of operational wind (252 MW) and a development pipeline (1,500+MW) of wind and solar projects in Alberta and Ontario; the purchase price is $730.0 million

+ ENMAX Power and Cadillac Fairview commissioned their Chinook Mall project; 1,900 roof-mounted solar panels/53,000 sq. ft.

+ Heartland Generation Ltd. announced a deal/selection to do a carbon capture project -  Battle River Carbon Hub, and a deal to donate 268 acres to the province as an addition to Big Knife provincial park – announced by the government as part of the Jason Kenny flurry of announcements in his last week; our information is the deal is far from done, the land has not been identified, but the government announced it anyway … tic toc … we’ll see

+ TC Energy Corporation is investing $146.0 million to develop the 81MW Saddlebrook Solar Project near Aldersyde
