+ Canadian Olympic Committee approved Calgary’s bid; Calgary is the only Canadian city pitching a bid

+ IOC executives in Calgary today to consult with the bid corporation

+ … though it isn’t ‘about the Olympic bid per-se’, the Calgary Flames and City of Calgary are quietly (shhh, don’t tell anyone …) talking again about talking again, about a new arena; and of course, a new facility would likely factor in to Calgary’s bid to host the 2026 games because one hockey rink won’t do
