+ Alberta COVID-19 stats: 733 deaths to date, 21,123 active cases of 81,986 confirmed cases to date: aggregate Alberta data – currently, 716 Albertans are in the hospital with COVID-19, and 136 of those are in intensive care units

+ Alberta did a Stage 2 relaunch, re-opening Stage 3 remains delayed; on November 24 the Premier announced NEW restrictions governing a wide range of public, business, and school restrictions as a State of Public Health Emergency; Calgary in lock-step has also declared a State of Local Emergency – which means Tom Sampson, Chief of the Calgary Emergency Management Agency is in charge …

+ Alberta instituted new restrictions effective immediately on December 8th; with the balance of measures taking effect at midnight December 13th; it’s masks, stay home, closing or severely limiting or closing many business operations
