+ Alliance Pipeline Inc.’s mainline natural gas pipeline up and running after isolating and flaring H2S problem

+ ATB – daily economist’s outlook

+ Birchcliff Energy Ltd. reduced its 2015 CapEx Budget to $250 million from $266.7 million

+ BP Plc refinery breakdown near Chicago disrupted Midwest U.S. markets, pushing down demand for Canadian crude and pushing up gasoline prices; refining 270,000 barrels/day of heavy crude suddenly stopped sent ripples through the market

+ Calgary Flames will announce details today on the ‘CalgaryNEXT’ proposal that will include a new arena, domed football facility and a public fieldhouse; location expected to be ‘west village’ site assembled by the City. Premier Notley says she has an open mind about Provincial support for the project. Meanwhile, the City of Calgary has engaged consultants to scope out the site for creosote remediation costs – seems but one of many very expensive parts of a complex problem .. stay tuned!
