TOO FUNNY

+ Jarome Iginla got traded, and put his house up For Sale; it sold at list price ($4 million) on the first day. Mario Toneguzzi wrote a splashy article in the Calgary Herald like it was a good news story. Sure, for the buyer. Iginla didn’t counter??? Go figure .. how much did he leave on the table? Maybe he was in too much of a hurry to get out of town that he didn’t think to counter-offer, or wait a day or two!

 QUOTES

“As a group, we do spend a lot of time on buses, at lunches, and politics does come up. I don’t know if we know what we are talking about.” – Jarome Iginla

“But I’m very libertarian in the sense that I believe in small government and, as a general rule, I don’t believe in imposing values upon people.” – Stephen Harper (yes, our Prime Minister)
