Why do your clients hire you instead of your competitors?
. . . we’re independent. We don’t take large positions in the market place that we attempt to get our clients to buy-into. And we are not trying to get our ‘toe in the tent’ in order to extract large transactional fees down the road. And, we have excellent references . . .
Your firm’s most significant unsung advantage?
. . . we are nimble, data-driven, take a systems approach, have a methodology to follow in our analyses. We don’t have to ‘toe a party line’. We call it as we see it.
I know you have a long involvement with rugby and hockey – what’s the history of that?
. . . I’ve played Div. 1 club-side rugby in London Ontario, in New Zealand in Calgary. I’ve been coaching hockey for 42 years . . . coaching referees, refereeing.
